AUSTRALIAN INTERNET TECHNOLOGY COMPANY TAKES ON THE
WORLD
WebAlive Technologies Global Pty Ltd, an Australian firm
headquartered at Digital Harbour Commonwealth Technology Port,
Docklands Melbourne, has recently opened partner offices in London
and Dubai and plans to open in Shanghai in the 2nd half of
2004.
Digital Harbour was established with the assistance of a
funding package from The Commonwealth of Australia. The Prime
Minister, John Howard, officially opens the precinct on July
2nd.
WebAlive’s global technology innovation is based on their
world release of the 1st in a series of internet business
transaction and communication products…WEBALIVE™ This is a complete
Web Site planning, deployment and management system including
e-Commerce, (on line store and secure multi payment gateway), which
is based on open source platforms, and is non platform dependent,
(works with Mac, PC, Linux etc). WebAlive™ is a complete web site
content management control system that requires no programming and
is sold for $1 a day including 25 email addresses, 12 months
hosting, secure on line payment gateways, limitless extranet and
intranet functionality and allows the user to have unlimited web
pages and content.

to WEBALIVE™ because of the increased control, features,
functionality and freedom it provides, as well, of course, as the
reduced costs”, says Managing Director, David Daniel.The technology
has been completely developed within Australia, is owned by
Australian founders and has been truly internationalized by the
release of multiple language versions including Chinese.
In
the Middle East the company has entered into a partnership
distribution agreement with one of the regions largest
Telecommunications Distributors to deploy 50,000
licences.
The
UK Partners have been signed to deploy 100,000 licences and the
Group expects to attain One Million end user licencees globally by
2007-2008
In
just 6 months of commercialization activity in Australia, the
company has sold thousands of licences and procured some of the
countries largest business and industry peak bodies as formal
channel partners including BECA and ANZABI, in addition to numerous
commercial channel partners such as The OFFICE NATIONAL Group and
many local Government communities.
The
company has worked successfully with AUSTRADE in the establishment
of these international markets and has also recently passed a 6
month, critical technical and commercial due diligence audit with
one of China’s largest Telecommunications companies and expects to
open in China, initially in Shanghai in the 2nd half of 2004, in
commercial “partnership” with this Telco for development of the
fast growing Chinese market.
The
company is also an approved supplier to The Commonwealth of
Australia under the ESA scheme.
